What is a Theta Brainwave?

ViannaStibal, the founder of ThetaHealing® Technique describes being in a theta brainwave while facilitating healings as being more focused and creatively inspired and feeling deeply connected to all things. In time she began to notice how she achieved this state and found a way to teach this process. Scientists have also discovered that theta brainwaves allow us to experience our strongest spiritual connection. It is in a theta state that we experience the feeling of “inner peace”. The Brainwave Frequencies There are five brainwaves that govern everything we do and say. While all of them are present at all times, one dominates at any given time. These brain frequencies - beta, alpha, theta, delta, and gamma - are constantly in motion.   Beta (14-28 cycles per second)  This is the waking state - the normal state for most people, most of the time. Alpha (7-14 cycles per second) This is a relaxed and meditative state; it is also the...

Alignment

When you are in alignment its’ enough to just be and people will want to mirror you. Being in alignment means that you must develop healthy boundaries. That means knowing exactly who you are and who you are not, it means having discernment on how, when and to whom to say No. Respecting yourself and your values is a great virtue and a great tool of testing if you’re in alignment. “By making this choice do I respect myself right now?”. You exercise the power of free will, one of the most important law of humanity. It’s the only law that cannot be broken. You cannot do anything to anyone without them allowing it to happen. Having free will means you have choices. Having choices means that it is your responsibility to take those choices. Choosing to take the choice has a powerful impact in creating your reality and, also, a...

Inner child

The way they do this is by identifying the emotion, they stay with it and accept it and its shadows, they see it, they acknowledge it. Its like seeing a part of yourself that you have forgotten in your childhood, in a pattern that no longer serves you. I have a process called “Healing the inner child” that makes you connect with the aspect of yourself from your childhood and by being totally present with those emotions and by following what you needed in that moment you become a master of your emotions. Every time an emotion arises it means that you need something in that moment. People need to give themselves what they need in that moment. By doing that you don’t allow others to impose to you what they think that you need. You are clear about your emotions and your personal needs and take your power back...

Expressing your colors

As a spiritual teacher I come to understand that perfectionism is an illusion. No matter how long I’ve tried to be the perfect daughter, friend, sister or healer, life took me back to the same conclusion: “Being human is multifaceted. We are here to express ourselves and learn through duality.” I was so keen on focusing on the goodness and I was so sharp in judging and rejecting the badness that I split myself. I was so split that it felt like putting myself in a thousand of boxes. Now, that I come to accept that I am a dual being living in a dual world and we express ourselves in duality, I am embracing and integrating both sides of myself. Let me share with you a story that made me understand that we are part of everything that is and all that we are is enough. You will find here 3...

Shadow work

When people develop their intuition, when they grow in consciousness those parts of you, those masks, the construct that you have built so far and you believe it is you, dies. It makes room for the truth. What remains is the essence of what you truly are. The more false constructs dissolve, the more powerful and pure your vibration becomes. This process can be perceived very tragically, as a real death of oneself. And there will be a need to go through the process of grief. If that part of yourself who used to protect you, to help you survive in the environment where you grew, dies, you feel powerless. Who am I if I am not this? Panic starts to kick in: “ who will I be without this, how will I relate to others, how will I function in the world, where do I belong in this world?...
